Success of the IA Conecta 2024 Event On December 11, 2024, the IA Conecta 2024 event, organized by the ELLIS Unit Madrid, was held with great success at the Círculo de Bellas Artes in Madrid. The meeting brought together companies, institutions, and academia to foster collaboration in developing artificial intelligence (AI) solutions.

The day featured five dialogue panels:

Industry: Jorge González (Geotab), Ignacio Sarasua (NVIDIA), Alfonso Ibañez (Telefónica Tech), and Javier Díaz-Rozo (Aingura IIoT) contributed their insights.

Education: Ruth Cobos Pérez (UAM), Juan Jesús Alcolea (Dimetrical), and Lino González García (In2AI) shared their experiences.

Medicine: Speakers included Jesús Tornero (Hospital Los Madroños), Carlos Salle Moreno (Sandoz Pharmaceuticals), Aureli Soria-Frisch (Starlab), and Ricardo Jauregui (DyCare).

Ethics: Featured Patricia Llaque (OdiseIA), Pablo A. Haya (IIC), and Sara Degli-Esposti (CSIC).

Economy: Included Sergio Álvarez Teleña (SciTheWorld), Daniel Borrajo (J.P. Morgan AI Research), and Marco Antonio Bonilla (BBVA).
